# What is required to redeem SC to a bank account or debit card?

## General Requirements 

*   A minimum redeemable balance of 50 SC
*   A verified account
*   Proof of payment instrument and/or proof of address may be required

## Debit Card Limitations

*   Must be a Visa or Mastercard debit card
*   The card must have been used to purchase on Modo previously
*   Prepaid cards are not accepted 
    *   **Using CashApp?** Add it as a bank account instead of a debit card, using your CashApp routing and account number. 

If your debit card does not appear as an option for redemption, this is commonly because one of the above requirements was not met. Most commonly, the debit card has not yet been used to purchase on Modo.  

  

## Steps

1.  Ensure SC is toggled on 
2.  Click [Redeem](https://modo.us/redeem) on the left-hand menu 
3.  Choose cash prize
4.  Add or select your bank account or eligible debit card
5.  Enter the amount to redeem
6.  Click next - you'll be prompted to upload any needed payment verification documents 
7.  From here, you can preview you the redemption before finalizing. If everything looks correct, click Redeem to submit your redemption!
